largely a matter of confidence in the processes used. Confidence is entirely a matter of understanding the problem. Understanding the problem is for many of us a matter of visual proof.
Astrographics is the direct solution of star problems by drawing them, so as to get a picture of what is being done as well as an approximate answer.
This book therefore calls for a minimum of mathematics and a maximum of practical common-sense.
