The material between these covers is the result of a 15 year labour of love by Neville Long. His work tells something of the story of the Trinity House, London, and the history and evolution of its lighthouses on the coast of Norfolk. Suffolk and Essex. In its history, the Trinity House have had its headquarters destroyed by fire in 1666, 1714, and 1940. As a result, many records and books have been lost, and only by painstaking research has the author been able to go a long way in completing the puzzle.
