"Marguerite De Valois," also known as "La Reine Margot," is a historical novel written by Alexandre Dumas. It was first published in 1845 and is part of Dumas' series called "The Valois Romances," which focuses on the French Wars of Religion.

The novel is set during the late 16th century in France, a time marked by religious conflicts between the Catholic majority and the Protestant Huguenots. It revolves around the life of Marguerite de Valois, a historical figure who was the daughter of King Henry II of France and Catherine de' Medici. Marguerite, also known as Queen Margot, was married off politically to Henry of Navarre, a Protestant prince who later became King Henry IV of France.
